Cheesefare Sunday Liturgy officiated by His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis
His Grace Bishop Kyriakos served the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St Catherine’s in Malvern, Victoria.
During the Liturgy His Grace read a catechetical homily written by His All-holiness Patriarch Bartholomew for the beginning of Great and Holy Lent.
An encyclical by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios was also read in which He called upon all the faithful to pray for Ukraine and money was collected to be sent to help our Orthodox Christian brothers and sisters during this great trial.
His Grace also thanked His Excellency Mr. Emmanuel Kakavelakis Consul General of Greece in Melbourne for attending the Divine Liturgy together with his family.
