Celebrating 180 years of the Theological School of Halki at the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair

As part of the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair, an exhibition commemorating the 180th anniversary of the founding of the Theological School of Halki is being hosted at the stand of the Commercial Association of Thessaloniki (Outdoor Area A 11 – Stand 04).

The exhibition showcases the historical journey of the School and its significant contributions to ecclesiastical and educational affairs.

Today, Sunday, 8September 2024, at 8:00 p.m., a special event will take place in the context of the exhibition, featuring prominent speakers. The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the Theological School of Halki, the Patriarchal Foundation for Patristic Studies, and “Byzantine Thessaloniki,” with the notable support of His Eminence Metropolitan Filotheos of Thessaloniki.

This initiative aims to highlight both the historical and contemporary relevance of the Theological School of Halki, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the School’s rich legacy.
