Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis attends an environmental event in Canberra
With the Blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace visited Canberra yesterday and attended an ecumenical tree planting event organised by the Roman Catholic Church marking the end of the Season of Creation.
His Grace was accompanied by Very Reverend Petros Kipouros, the Parish Priest of St Nicholas in Canberra and was welcomed by His Grace Christopher Prowse, the Roman Catholic Archbishop.
His Grace Bishop Bartholomew thanked the Roman Catholic Archbishop for his kind invitation and conveyed to the Archbishop the love and respect of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
In turn the Roman Catholic Archbishop thanked His Grace Bishop Bartholomew for his presence and asked that he also convey his love the our beloved Archbishop.
