Arrival of Evzones in Australia for ANZAC Day celebrations

The Greek Presidential Guard, known as the Evzones, has arrived in Adelaide. The 14 Evzones that make up the mission will visit Adelaide and Sydney, as part of a 12-day tour, in order to participate in the celebrations in honour of ANZAC Day 2025.

On Monday, 28 April 2025, at the beginning of their visit to Sydney, the Evzones will attend a Doxology Service that will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of Our Lady, in Redfern, officiated by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
