Archbishop Ioannis of Albania attends Greek Independence Day celebration at Greek Embassy in Tirana

His Beatitude, the newly elected Archbishop Ioannis of Albania,  attended the official celebration of Greek Independence Day organised by the Embassy of Greece in Tirana, Albania.

He was accompanied by His Eminence Metropolitan Nathaniel of Amantia and His Grce Bishop Anastasios of Kruja.

During the event, Archbishop Ioannis exchanged warm greetings with the Greek Ambassador to Albania, Her Excellency Ms. Konstantina Kamitsi, and engaged in a brief but cordial conversation, highlighting the spirit of mutual respect and cooperation.

His presence at the event underlined the continued commitment of the Orthodox Church of Albania to fostering strong ties with the Greek community and promoting harmonious relations between the two neighbouring nations.
