Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens meets with the Civil Administrator of Mount Athos
On Wednesday morning, 25 September, His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece held a series of important meetings, starting with a visit from Archimandrite Fr. Fadi Rabbat, Dean of the Antiochian House of Studies. Their discussion underscored the deepening ties between the Greek Orthodox Church and the Antiochian Orthodox Church, reflecting shared spiritual goals.
Following this, Archbishop Ieronymos met with the Mayor of Agrafa, Mr. Alexis Kardampikis, focusing on local community matters. Shortly thereafter, Myra Myrogianni, Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, paid a ceremonial visit to the Archbishop, signifying the strong connection between the Church and Greek diaspora initiatives.
At noon, Archbishop Ieronymos concluded his day of meetings with a session alongside Alkiviadis Stefanis, the Civil Administrator of Mount Athos, where they discussed pressing issues concerning the holy state.
