An evening of fun and games for the youth of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote

A beautiful evening, filled with fun and games, was spent by the approximately 100 young men and women of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote, Victoria, who on Saturday, October 8, gathered in the Parish Hall of St. Dimitrios Ascot Vale.

His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta, Archiepiscopal Vicar of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote, was present and joined the youth for this wonderful event, who, during his brief greeting, conveyed to the youth the blessing and love of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, reminding them that their Shepherd prays unceasingly for the youth and has them as a priority.

Also, His Grace urged the children to attend Church and have Jesus Christ as their friend, pointing out that “when the world in some cases will abandon you and you will feel isolated, know that the Church will be by your side, your Archbishop, the Clergy, will be there to support you.”
