The “final farewell” for the Late Former Metropolitan Titos of Paramythia

In a atmosphere of deep emotion, with the presence of a large crowd of faithful people and representatives of the local authorities of Epirus, the Funeral Service of the late former Metropolitan Titos of Paramythia, Philiata, Giromerion and Parga, was held on Sunday, 16 March 2025, at the Cathedral of Saint Donatos of Paramythia.

The Funeral Service was led by the successor of the late Hierarch, Metropolitan Serapion, who was assisted by their Eminences, Metropolitan Ignatios of Arta, Metropolitan Nektarios of Kerkyra, Metropolitan Ierotheos of Zichnon, Metropolitan Theophilos of Lefkada and Ithaki, Metropolitan Maximos of Ioannina and Metropolitan Timotheos of Thessaliotis.

Eulogies were delivered by His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Nikopolis and Preveza, who represented His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and by: the Second Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, Archimandrite Nicodemus Athanasios, the Member of Parliament for Thesprotia, Mr. Vasilios Gioyakas, the representative of the Epirus Region, Ms. Stavroula Braimi, the Mayor of Soulion, Mr. Athanasios Danis, the Mayor of Igoumenitsa, Mr. Panagiotis Daeis, and His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion of Paramythia, Philiata, Giromerion and Parga.

After the end of the Exodus Service, the burial followed at the Holy Monastery of Saint Paraskevi, in the village of Pounta, Kanalaki, Preveza.
