With human sorrow, the Holy Metropolis of Paramythia, Philiata, Geromerion, and Parga announces the passing away in the Lord of our late Father and Hierarch, former Metropolitan Titos of Paramythia, Philiata, Geromerion, and Parga.
The late Chief Shepherd of our Holy Metropolis, Metropolitan Titos, was a teacher of the Truth, a minister of the Mysteries of God, a spiritual father of the people, a model of humility and self-sacrifice. In the blessed Vineyard of Thesprotia, he cultivated the word of truth, nourished the flock with the food of the knowledge of God and dedicated himself entirely to the ministry of the Church, God and people.
He was a “man of God” (1 Tim. 6:11), a living witness to the faith and a true continuer of the tradition of the Holy Fathers, who today returns to his Creator, clothed not with the corruption of the flesh, but with the garment of incorruption, awaiting the voice of the Lord Christ: “Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the joy of your Lord” (Matt. 25:21).
The reception of the body of the late Hierarch will take place on Saturday, 15 March 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Donatos of Paramythia, where it will lay in state for public veneration.
Afterwards, an Hierarchical Funeral Trisagion will take place, followed by the Vespers Service and then a Holy Vigil, before the late Hierarch’s sacred body.
On Sunday, 16 March 2025 at 7:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Donatos of Paramythia, the Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy will be celebrated, before the body of the late Hierarch.
The Funeral Service will be chanted in the aforementioned Cathedral on Sunday, 16 March 2025 at 12 p.m., while all the provisions for the funeral of a serving Metropolitan will be carried out in accordance with the ecclesiastical order.

The burial will take place at the Holy Monastery of Saint Paraskevi in the village of Pounta, Kanalaki.
Following the above, with the hope of the Resurrection and the certainty of eternal communion with God, we beseech the Lord, the Just Judge, to place “in the tents of the righteous” and rest “in the bosom of Abraham” the soul of our departed Hierarch, Metropolitan Titos, and to number him among the Saints.
