Patriarch Daniel: The Romanian Orthodox Church prays for the health of the Archbishop of Albania
The Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, prays for the health of His Beatitude Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durres and All Albania, who is hospitalised at the Evangelismos General Hospital in Athens, Greece.
For six days, Archbishop Anastasios has been in critical condition and is currently under the close observation of a team of doctors in Athens. He was transferred from Tirana, Albania, on 3 January 2025 after a viral infection.
In a message sent to Archbishop Anastasios, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of Romania says that the Romanian Orthodox Church prays together with the clergy and faithful of the Orthodox Sister Church of Albania for the health of Archbishop Anastasios.
