Impressive results for Greek language students at Oakleigh Grammar School
Students at Oakleigh Grammar, in Melbourne, excelled in Greek Language Examinations this year, achieving high results.
The anxiety for thousands of VCE students came to an end on Thursday, 12 December, when they received their results for the ATAR general examinations they had taken. This included students from the Greek Orthodox Oakleigh Grammar School, who completed their studies in the Greek language course at Senior High School level this year.
The students worked intensively and with great patience. Their dedication, methodical preparation, and love for our language and culture brought forth many fruits, as they achieved great results, proving the value of systematic education.
Specifically, third-generation student Eleni Kousourakis gained a score of 45/50, while student Sotiris Antrikopoulos 40/50. The two students will complete their third year of high school in 2025 and hope to achieve the same remarkable scores in their remaining subjects, in order to secure a place in the field they desire.
Congratulations are due to the two students who achieved excellent results, which reflects the hard work of both them and their teacher, Ms. Natasha Spanou, who with passion and patience strengthens the knowledge of the Greek language in the newer generations.
