Its achievements stand as a testament to His love and support.
On Sunday, 8 December 2024, a heartfelt Christmas celebration was hosted by His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne, to express gratitude to all the volunteers who have generously supported the Five Loaves Initiative. This event brought together a significant number of volunteers, filling the hall at the Diocese of Melbourne with joy and excitement.
During his greeting, Bishop Kyriakos conveyed to everyone the blessing of Archbishop Makarios, noting that the achievements of the “Five Loaves” initiative are proof of His Eminence’s love and support.
His Grace highlighted the invaluable contribution of the volunteers involved in the Initiative, stating that they have made a significant difference and that “your incredible generosity has a lasting impact on the lives of thousands of people in Melbourne.” “Through your volunteer efforts,” he continued, “you demonstrate the extraordinary abilities that each and every one of you brings. Your selfless dedication to helping others highlights your strength and the high ideals that govern your character.”
