Patriarchal Horostasia at the Church of Panagia Balino, with the Archbishop of Australia present in prayer
On Sunday, 17 November 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiated from the throne (Horostasia) during the Divine Liturgy which took place at the Church of Panagia Balino, in Constantinople, on the occasion of the Feast Day of Saint Menas the Great Martyr, where the sacred spring of the Saint is found in the Narthex of the Holy Church.
The Ecumenical Patriarch was welcomed and addressed by His Grace Bishop Adrianos of Halicarnassus, Overseer of the Phanar – Golden Horn District, and also by the President of the Community Council, Dr Symeon Soltaridis.
Also present for the Divine Liturgy were His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia along with Archons of the Great Church of Christ and many faithful believers.
