On 7 November 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent a warm congratulatory letter to the newly elected President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, extending his wishes for health, strength, and success in his upcoming second presidential term.
The Ecumenical Patriarch stated, “Recognising the immense responsibilities that come with such leadership, we pray that your decisions will be guided by wisdom and compassion, along with the strength needed to uphold harmony and security in your great and God-guarded nation.”
