Four bodies of migrants collected from sea off Rhodes, 25 survivors found on shore
The bodies of 4 migrants were collected from the sea off southern Rhodes island on Wednesday, while another 25 foreigners were found safe on land.
Eleven of the migrants were found by Greek police in the Genadi area and 14 in Prasonissi, an island connected to Rhodes, by the Coast Guard.
According to preliminary information, the rescued migrants told Greek police that a high-speed boat transported them to the sea off Prasonissi at midnight and departed after leaving them offshore.
The Coast Guard said that it is continuing its search with one inflatable boat, two airplanes, and a vehicle.
