Metropolitan of Kyiv led Divine Liturgy for the Nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost
On the Nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost, 3 November 2024, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of St. Michael the Golden-Domed in Kyiv.
The service was concelebrated by the vicar of the Zolotovercha Monastery, Archbishop Agapit of Vyshgorod, Bishop Ephrem of Vasylkiv, the brothers of the monastery, and invited clergy.
After the reading of the Gospel, the Metropolitan delivered the sermon and offered a special prayer to the Lord in a time of peril for Ukraine.
Prayers were also offered during the service for the soldiers defending Ukraine, for the government and the people, and for the repose of the souls of all fallen defenders of Ukraine, as well as civilians who lost their lives during the war.
