Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on the National Day of Greece

On the occasion of the National Day of Greece, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarchate Bartholomew sent the Grand Protosyncellus Archimandrite Gregorios to the Consulate General of Greece in Constantinople, who then presided over the Doxology and Memorial service, whilst also conveying to the Consul General, His Excellency Ambassador Konstantinos Koutras, the congratulations and best wishes of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the local Greek community.

Earlier, in honour of the Feast of the Holy Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, the Grand Protosyncellus Archimandrite Gregorios attended the Divine Liturgy as the representative of the Ecumenical Patriarch, which was presided over by His Grace Bishop Benjamin of Tralee and took place at the Holy Cathedral of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple, in Pera.
