Foundation stone for Olympic Museum at the Metropolis of Zambia

On 21st of October 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan Ioannis of the Orthodox Metropolis of Zambia and Mozambique performed the service of blessing the Foundation stone in the Metropolis Residence in Lusaka Zambia. This Museum will display Olympic games artifacts, books and other information on Olympic games.

The Archbishop emphasised the need for the Olympic values in the modern society to the youth and all the people in the daily lives. He emphasised also on the need for the Olympic values in our spiritual growth as we are athletes in the journey towards our salvation.
