During a brief break from his busy schedule of visits and official meetings, the Patriarch had the opportunity to discuss matters with the local Shepherd, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, matters concerning the local Church and to share his thoughts regarding the experiences he gained during the first days of communication and interaction with the faithful people of the fifth continent.
Expressing his paternal satisfaction with the work being carried out by the Holy Archdiocese of Australia, the Ecumenical Patriarch congratulated the Archbishop and wished for the local Church to continue without hindrance its path and progress in Christ during its second century of life and service.
