Romanian Orthodox Church to mark Patriarch Daniel’s 17th enthronement anniversary
On Monday, 30 September 2024, the Romanian Orthodox Church will mark the 17th anniversary of the enthronement of Patriarch Daniel.
The program begins with the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Cathedral from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
Following the liturgy, at 11:00 AM, a Doxology service will be held in the Cathedral as thanksgiving to God for the blessings bestowed upon the Romanian Orthodox Church and Patriarch Daniel during 17 years of fruitful patriarchal ministry.
A festive event will take place at noon in the Europa Christiana Hall of the Patriarchal Palace, attended by the Romanian Patriarchate’s official guests, including:
Members of the Holy Synod;
The State Secretary for Religious Affairs;
Leaders of official religious denominations in Romania;
Members of the Standing National Church Council and the Standing Diocesan Council of the Bucharest Archdiocese.
