Ordination of a Presbyter at the Patriarchate of Jerusalem

On Saturday, July 21/August 3, 2024, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the chapel of Saint George of the Holy Metropolis of Nazareth, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Kyriakos of Nazareth.

Following the order of the Church, His Eminence ordained Deacon Stephanos Nassar, a native of Nazareth, as a Presbyter, as he was ordained a deacon a week ago on the Horrendous Golgotha.

The co-celebrating Priests, his relatives and his fellow citizens praised the ordained priest with the acclamation of “Axios”!

After the Divine Liturgy, the ordained Presbyter offered a reception for His Eminence, the concelebrating Priests and those honouring him with their presence.
