Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew concluded three-day visit to Italy

His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew’s visit to Italy ended on Saturday, 6 June 2024, as he departed from Milan airport. His Eminence Metropolitan Polycarp of Italy bid him farewell.

Invited by Bishop Edoardo Aldo Cerrato, the Ecumenical Patriarch attended and spoke at church events honouring the Holy Martyr Sabinus. During his trip, he visited the Church of Saint Ulderico in Ivrea and participated in prayers for the feast of St. Sabinus. He also visited the Greek Orthodox Parish of Turin, where he was received with honours.
