The President of Ukraine offers his gratitude to the Ecumenical Patriarchate

Ukrainian President Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew for his support for the Joint Communiqué issued after the work of the Conference on Peace in Ukraine, which took place over the two days of June 15-16, 2024 in Bürgenstock of the Swiss Confederation.

The President of Ukraine expressed his gratitude, through a post on the social network X. “I am grateful to the Ecumenical Patriarchate for the support to the communique of the World Peace Summit. The document remains open for signature and I am confident that even more countries and international organisations will join it,” the statement said.

According to President Zelenskyy, Ukraine and all Ukrainians are grateful to the Ecumenical Patriarch “for his prayers and constant attention to our country and people.”
