Returning from Halki, on Tuesday afternoon, 6 February 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew made his way to the Holy Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi, Valoukli, and conducted a Trisagion Memorial Service for the repose of the soul of his predecessor, Patriarch Photios II, whose grave is in the Patriarchal Cemetery, in the grounds of the Monastery.

His All-Holiness also prayed for the late Metropolitan Photios of Heraclea, and also for his relative from Imbros, Archimandrite Photios Georgiadis, graduate of the Theological School of Halki, who was a priest for many years and passed away in Romania.
