Metropolitan of Sweden performed Trisagion service for late Metropolitan Paul of Amaseia

On Monday morning, 5 February 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and all Scandinavia, accompanied by Archimandrite Bartholomew Iatridis, made their way to the Skogskyrkogården Cemetery in Stockholm.

There, on the occasion of the recent relocation of the late Metropolitan Paul of Amaseia, to a new grave, following the expressed desire of the deceased Hierarch in his will, but also in anticipation of the completion of two years since his passing away, a Trisagion Service was performed for the repose of his soul.

It should be noted that on the upcoming Sunday, 11 February 2024, a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the Holy Cathedral of Saint George in Stockholm by His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas, at the end of which the biennial memorial for his blessed predecessor, Metropolitan Paul, will be conducted.
