Pastoral visit of Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea to Okinawa, Japan

On Friday and Saturday, June 16 and 17, 2023, His Eminence Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea and Exarch of Japan made a pastoral visit to Okinawa, Japan.

In the Orthodox church of St. Nicholas, which is located inside the American Army Base, Metropolitan Ambrosios with the participation of about thirty believers and some catechumens conducted the Matins and the Divine Liturgy.

The congregation was multinational. Everyone participated with emotion because they had been inactive for some time due to the lack of an available Orthodox priest.
