The Ecumenical Patriarch spoke about Ecology and Peace in Salerno, Italy
On Friday afternoon, 5 May 2023, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presented a significant speech in Salerno, on the topic: “Ecology and Peace: A future according to God’s plan”.
The event took place in the Hall of the Archbishop’s Palace, in the presence of the Archbishop of Salerno, Andreas Belanti, who stated: “The presence of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople is an honour, as he is one of the most important personalities of the religious world and is now a point of reference not only for Greek Orthodox believers, but for the entire Christian and religious world.”
The Ecumenical Patriarch was applauded at the end of His speech by the large audience, who rushed to receive His blessing.
