Memorial Service in Tempe, forty days after the unspeakable tragedy
Forty days after the unspeakable tragedy in the area of Tempe, relatives of the victims, with unbearable pain and tears in their eyes, returned on Palm Sunday to the site of the train crash to light a candle, leave flowers and notes.
At the scene of the tragedy, where a small church has been erected by the initiative of the Region of Thessaly, a memorial service was held for the repose of the souls of the victims, by His Eminence Metropolitan Ieronymos of Larissa and Tyrnavos, who represented His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece.
