Translation of the Venerable Head of Saint Ephraim Katounakiotis to the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi
On Thursday, 23 March, 2023, the welcoming of the Venerable Head of St. Ephraim Katounakiotis took place at the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi on Mount Athos.
The Sacred Relic was solemnly and reverently welcomed by the Abbot of the venerable monastery, Elder Archimandrite Ephraim along with the Vatopedi brotherhood and many pilgrims.
The Sacred Relic was translated to the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi by the Elder Hieromonk Joseph on the occasion of the saint’s feast day.
