Memorial service at gravesite of Venizelos family in western Crete

A Trisagion memorial service was held today at the graves of the Venizelos family in western Crete, on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the death of pre-eminent 20th century Greek statesman Eleftherios Venizelos.

The memorial service was officiated by the resident Metropolitan of Kissamos and Selinos, His Eminence Amphilochios, and co-officiated by several other hierarchs of the Church of Crete.
