Programme for the Greek National Day commemorations in Sydney

On March 26, 2023, the National Anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821 will be celebrated in Sydney, in the presence of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.

The anniversary events, organised by the Holy Archdiocese of Australia, the Parishes – Communities of Sydney and New South Wales, and the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW, are as follows:

– Remembrance Service and wreath-laying at Martin Place (12 pm.)

– Festive program and speeches at Sydney Town Hall (1pm-3pm)
