Sunday of Orthodoxy at the Holy Church of The Holy Trinity in Richmond, Melbourne

The Archdiocesan District of Melbourne celebrated the Sunday of Orthodoxy with particular splendour, in which the Triumph of Orthodoxy and the restoration of the Holy Icons is commemorated. The focus of the celebrations took place at the Church of the The Holy Trinity in Richmond, where His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis presided over the Divine Liturgy, whilst also having been joined by Metropolitan Ezekiel of Dervis and Parish Priest Father Emmanuel Ioannidis.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos conveyed to the faithful, the prayers and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, while following this the celebratory procession of the Holy Icons took place around the outside of the Church.
