Letter of condolence from the Governor-General of Australia for the train tragedy in Tempi, Greece
The Governor-General of Australia, Mr. David Hurley, sent a letter of condolence to the President of the Hellenic Republic, Ms. Katerina Sakellaropoulou, for the fatal train accident in Tempi, Greece.
Also referring to the large Greek diaspora living in Australia, Mr. Hurley notes that he understands the serious consequences of this tragedy, while conveying the deepest sympathy of the Australian people.
“Our thoughts are with the Greek people at this difficult time,” he concludes.
