Elder Archimandrite Dositheos reposes in the Lord this week

The Elder Archimandrite Dositheos Kannelos, the founder and Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Tattarni, in Evritania prefecture, reposed in the Lord this week at the age of 87.

Elder Dositheos was distinguished for cultivating brotherly relations between the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople and the central Greece monastery.

The beloved Archimandrite was also associated with Athonite Fathers, as well as St. Ieronymos of Simonopetra, whom he met at the venerable Mount Athos Monastery’s ecclesiastical Metochion of the Ascension, in the east Athens district of Vyronas.
