Archbishop Ieronymos leads New Year’s Doxology at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens

His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece presided over a New Year’s liturgy at the Athens Metropolitan Cathedral on Sunday, in the presence of Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

“May the new year be a blessed, peaceful, full of health and bring our actions success,” the archbishop said.

Also attending the liturgy were Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Greek Orthodox Church leaders from Greece and abroad, ministers, and representatives of foreign churches, parties and members of Parliament, security forces, and local authorities, among others.

The Archbishop also paid a visit to the Greek president at the Presidential Mansion to convey his good wishes for the New Year.
