The Feast Day of Christmas celebrated in Australia’s Capital, Canberra

With the Blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis celebrated Matins and the Divine Liturgy for the great feast of the Nativity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Amongst the congregation was the Defence Attaché Colonel Ioannis Fasianos, who represented the Greek Embassy.

After the reading of the Archbishops’ encyclical, His Grace conveyed the love, blessings and respect of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia to all the faithful who were present.

Furthermore His Grace on behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia thanked Father Petros Kipouros, the Parish Priest for his efforts in 2022. Moreover, His Grace also thanked the congregation on attending the service and wished them abundant blessings from Above.
