Christmas at the Great Community of Stavrodromi, Constantinople
On Sunday, December 25, the day of Christmas, old and new Commissioners of the Great-named Community of Stavrodromi of Constantinople were present and celebrated together in the Holy Church of the Holy Trinity. They attended the Divine Liturgy, which was presided over by the Hierarchical Proistamenos, His Eminence Metropolitan Andreas of Saranta Ekklisies, who at the end of the Divine Liturgy wished the outgoing and incoming Commissioners of the Great Community health, love and strength in their work.
On the same day, the Mayor of Pera, Mr. Haydar Ali Yıldız, visited the Great Community of Stavrodromi. He wished the Hierarchical Proistamenos, His Eminence Metropolitan Andreas of Saranta Ekklesies, peace, love, solidarity and progress. He also requested that his wishes be conveyed to all members of the Community through the President Mrs. Giorgos Papaliaris and the members of the Board of Trustees.
The Community received him with joy in the context of the celebratory atmosphere of the holy days of Christmas.
