Christmas Celebration for the Ukrainians of Sampsounta

In Sampsounta, the Christmas Divine Liturgy for the Ukrainian Faithful of the area took place. The Divine Liturgy was lead by Very Rev. Father Victor Kopoustsou, Parish Priest of the Russian community of Constantinople.

The Liturgy was held in a Protestant Church that was granted for the liturgical needs of the local Orthodox Community.

After the Divine Liturgy, an impressive Christmas celebration took place, with poems and songs performed by the children of the Ukrainian families.

The Ukrainians of Sampsounta also gave Fr. Victor a gift for His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, as an expression of love and thanksgiving for His pastoral care.
