Memory of Righteous Iakovos Tsalikis of Evia commemorated at St. David Monastery

The memory of Righteous Iakovos Tsalikis of Evia was commemorated on Tuesday, the feast day of the 20th century saint, at the Holy Monastery of St. David on the large same-named island of Evia.

On the eve of the feast day, the Metropolitan of Halkida, His Eminence Chrysostomos, welcomed the Metropolitan of Karystia & Skyros, His Eminence Seraphim, and the Bishop of Oreon, His Grace Filotheos, the First Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece, who officiated at a Great Festal Vespers, where he preached the Gospel and recounted the life, works and miracles of the honoured saint.
