Members from Go Youth Melbourne’s Committee meet with His Grace Bishop Kyriakos

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis met with the youth committee members from the Melbourne district following on their successful trivia night.

His Grace Bishop Kyriakos congratulated the Go Youth Melbourne team for their fundraising trivia event which drew more than 110 young people.

The bishop then discussed exciting new initiatives in the district that are aimed for young people to be spiritually edified including new upcoming talk series and social activities.

It was also an opportunity for the youth to share their thoughts and ideas for spiritual and social events too.

Go Youth Melbourne was recently formed in March with the aim to engage young people into participating more in Church life.

Since its establishment Go Youth has hosted talk series and movie and trivia nights. His Grace and the youth committee aim to keep growing its reach and its ability to captivate the attention of young people.

Go Youth Melbourne has been an important initiative under the blessing of His Eminence and guidance from His Grace as young people within the Church now have an opportunity to regularly meet, socialise and grow their faith and love for God.
