26 new victims of the pandemic in Victoria and NSW
The death toll from Covid-19 patients has risen to 26 in the last 24 hours in Australia’s two largest states.
In particular, 17 new deaths related to Covid-19 were recorded in Victoria.
The total number of hospitalisations in the State of Victoria is 528, with 30 patients in the Intensive Care Unit and 9 further patients requiring intubation.
The new cases amount to 9,934.
Another 9 patients in New South Wales, also lost their lives.
A total of 1,143 people are being treated in the State hospitals, 31 of which are in the Intensive Care Unit.
In the last twenty-four hours, 8,383 cases of coronavirus were recorded.
