Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew: ‘No problem is solved with war; war does not solve problems’

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Thursday received at the Patriarchate, pupils of two high schools from the south-central Greece city of Lamia.

The pupils were accompanied by the Metropolitan of Fthiotida, His Eminence Symeon, and their teachers.

In welcoming the visiting high school students, His All Holiness again spoke out against the war in Ukraine, emphasizing that “… No problem is solved with war. War does not solve problems – I always say, repeatedly, war adds new problems.”
