Greece tops EU countries in NRSF fund absorption

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis received visiting European Commissioner for Cohesion & Reforms Elisa Ferreira at Maximos Mansion on Wednesday.

The Greek premier told the Commissioner of Greece’s improved performance in absorbing National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) funds, and he emphasized that Greece “now appears to be at the top of the European ranking” in that regard.

Ferreira noted that Greece was the first country that received approval for its NSRF allocations. In this context, she also pointed out that Greece “was truly a pioneer and worked very hard.”
