World’s first wireless portable underwater drone

Hydromea unveils a prototype of the world’s first wireless underwater drone in a pool demo.

Unlike other ROVs, the Exray drone uses Hydromea’s proprietary LUMA technology to transmit HD video in realtime through water, eliminating the need for a cable tether.

The seven low-profile Diskdrive thrusters enable 6 degrees of freedom control, and feature a tangle-resistant hubless design. Exray is cutting the cord to offer unparalleled freedom for inspection of complex structures.
