51 new Covid-19 deaths in NSW and VIC

The deaths of patients with Covid-19 recorded in the last twenty-four hours in the two largest States of Australia amount to 51.

Specifically, 26 deaths were recorded in New South Wales and another 25 in Victoria.

A total of 2,205 patients are treated in NSW hospitals, of which 60 are in Intensive Care.

The new cases amount to 13,544.

In Victoria the total hospitalisations are 897, with 34 patients in Intensive Care and 11 intubated.

The cases of the last twenty-four hours are 12,201.
