40 reported Covid-19 deaths in VIC and NSW

Forty new victims of the pandemic were recorded in the last twenty-four hours in the two largest states of Australia.

In particular, 25 patients with Covid-19 sadly passed away in Victoria.

A total of 840 patients are being treated in State hospitals, of which 33 are in the Intensive Care Unit and 7 are intubated.

The new cases reported in Victoria amount to 12,278.

Another 15 patients have also sadly passed away in New South Wales.

The total hospitalisations are 2,202, with 55 patients being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.

In the last twenty-four hours, 18,669 cases of the coronavirus were recorded.
