The Ambassador of Greece to Australia visits the Holy Diocese of Chora

On Thursday, 28 November 2024, His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Chora, on behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, warmly received the Ambassador of Greece to Australia, His Excellency Mr Stavros Venizelos, who was joined by his wife, Ms Larissa Tikaidi, and the Consul General of Greece in Melbourne, Mr Emmanuel Kakavelakis.

During their meeting, Bishop Evmenios and the Greek Ambassador discussed the recent Apostolic Visit of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Australia, the vision of creating the “Chora” Cultural Centre, and other issues of common interest.

Bishop Evmenios then conveyed the wishes and blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia for a wonderful and blessed Christmas to Ambassador Venizelos.
