Visit of a delegation of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff to the Holy Diocese of Chora

The Holy Diocese of Chora recently had the honour of welcoming to its offices in Northcote a high-ranking delegation from the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), led by Vice Admiral Theodoros Mikropoulos, Deputy Chief of the National Defence General Staff.

The delegation was accompanied by Captain Dimitrios Lekakakos and Colonel Mr. Kyriakos Kyriakakos, Defence Attaché in Canberra. The visitors were welcomed by His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Chora, representing His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.

During the meeting, His Grace informed the visitors about the renovation of the space and the creation of the Chora Cultural Centre.

The visit took place in a warm and cooperative atmosphere, while warm wishes and commemorative gifts were exchanged.
