Vespers for the Feast Day of Saint Paisios the Athonite in Perth

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Northcote in Victoria, officiated at the Hierarchical Vespers Service at the Chapel of Saint Paisios the Athonite, at the Holy Monastery of Saint John in Forrestfield, on Thursday, the 11th of July.
His Grace Bishop Evmenios is visiting Perth for the first time and will be partaking in the Archdiocesan District of Perth Centenary Celebrations of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia. The celebrations will also include the 2024 Youth Conference in which the Keynote Speaker will be His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
At the conclusion of the Vespers Service, His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Perth, warmly welcomed His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta and thanked Him for officiating at the Vespers Service for the Feast Day of Saint Paisios, which this year marks 30 years since the saint’s falling asleep.

The Greek Orthodox Christian Society who travelled from Sydney, chanted so beautifully on the night.
Following the service, the two Bishops departed for the Domestic Perth Airport to welcome the arrival of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia to Perth.
