Tsiknopempti celebrations by the Central Youth of the Holy Diocese of Chora

An event for the day of Tsiknopempti was held, with great success and with great enthusiasm, at the premises of the Archdiocesan Church of Our Lady “Axion Estin” in the Holy Diocese of Chora. The event was organised by the Central Youth for the youth, with an open invitation to their families, offering an opportunity for coming together, joy and entertainment.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with children and youth from the Greek community actively participating, demonstrating their vibrant connection to the traditions of their ancestors. Through food, music and fellowship, the event was a space where the youth were able to express their joy for their shared identity and strengthen their ties with the Church and the Greek community.

The event was honoured with the presence of His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Chora, who addressed a heartfelt greeting to those present and conveyed the warm wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
His Grace, addressing the youth, noted characteristically: “You are the present and the future of our Church. With your vitality, participation and interest in tradition and faith, you give us all hope and strength. The Church is your home, and your presence here fills us all with joy.”
The event concluded with well wishes for a blessed Lent and with the expectation of future youth initiatives that will continue to strengthen the spiritual life and cultural identity of the Greek Community.
